Organization's Mission
|
The organization's mission is to empower teachers in Israel and to ensure that every Israeli teacher is equipped with a laptop as a work tool, accompanied by a practical 120-hour training course. The goal is for the computer to serve teachers as a work tool for improving their teaching skills.

In the framework of the "Laptop Computer for Every Teacher in Israel" program,
the Ted Arison Family Foundation has adopted teachers in the cities and regional councils of Sderot, Dimona, Hof Ashkelon, Eilat, Petach-Tikva, Afula, Emek Lod and Beit Aryeh–Ofarim, as well as teachers at the Yemin Orde Youth Village.

Visit of Prof. Paul Rasta, Head of the Center for Technologies in Education at the University of Texas

Prof. Paul Rasta, Head of the Center for Technologies in Education at the University of Texas, visited Gouarish School in Ramla, together with his spouse Virginia. The purpose of the visit was to examine the success of the “A Laptop Computer for Every Teacher in Israel” program.
